LUKA SANTIAGO

Luka Santiago is just beginning his junior dragster career and is excited to grow in the sport. With a love for anything fast, he enjoys being behind the wheel and is eager to learn more every time he hits the track.

Outside of racing, Luka enjoys driving go-karts, building robots, and riding his bike at the pump track.

Luka hopes to inspire other kids to get involved in racing and discover the excitement and opportunities the sport has to offer.

MADDISON WOOTEN

Maddison Wooten is just getting started in her junior drag racing journey and already loves everything about the sport. Inspired by her dad and sister, who have been racing for years, she decided to jump in and quickly found her passion at the track.

Maddison is excited to continue learning and gaining experience, with goals of competing in major junior events this season. She brings a positive attitude and is eager to represent the sport both on and off the track.

Outside of racing, Maddison stays active dancing at Stage 8 Academy, performing at her church, playing basketball, and competing in track. She is proud to be part of the next generation of racers and is ready to represent Slick Kids with confidence and passion.

JOHN BREWER

John Brewer is a competitive racer who enjoys the fast-paced, exciting nature of drag racing. He’s found success on the track with multiple strong finishes, including three divisional semi-finals, a divisional final appearance, a Race of Champions semi-final, and several team race finals.

John loves the challenge that racing brings and continues to push himself to improve each time he lines up.

Outside of racing, he enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and fishing with his family. John is proud to represent the next generation of racers.

JANAIS SANTIAGO

Janais Santiago is new to junior drag racing but has already made an impressive impact in her first season. In just her second time racing, she earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes all in the same weekend, showing strong potential early in her career.

Janais is excited to continue learning and growing in the sport, building confidence and experience with each pass down the track.

Outside of racing, she enjoys dancing.

LEIGHTON KREYER

Leighton Kreyer has consistently proven himself as a strong competitor, earning multiple race wins and finishing in the top ten at his track every season. One of his biggest accomplishments came this past year when he became Track Champion at Cordova Dragway in his class. He also represented his track at the World Finals in Alabama, where he won the Gamblers Race against some of the top racers from around the country.

Outside of racing, Leighton enjoys staying active playing baseball, basketball, and tackle football. He also loves spending time outside with his brother and neighbors, and when he’s indoors, he enjoys building Legos.

Leighton is proud to represent the next generation of racers.

age 10 | Pennsylvania

DANI WARD

Dani Ward is just getting started in her junior drag racing journey and is already all in. After spending the past few years at the track watching her older brother race—and even helping as his mechanic—she was ready to get behind the wheel herself. After trying go-karting, Dani quickly fell in love with driving and got her first junior dragster in November. She’s now working toward getting licensed and hitting the track this season.

Dani brings enthusiasm and determination into everything she does. Whether she’s learning the ins and outs of racing or preparing for her first full season, she’s excited for what’s ahead.

Outside of racing, Dani is an honor roll student, wrestles with the PV Bruins youth girls team, sings in chorus, and plays trumpet in band. She’s already a big fan of Slick Kids and is proud to represent a brand she loves.

age 11 | NEW JERSEY

CHRISTIAN HANDWERK

Christian Handwerk is a second-generation junior drag racer who has been competing for six years, following in the footsteps of his mom, uncle, and older brother. Racing runs deep in his family, and he takes pride in continuing that legacy every time he hits the track.

Christian has already built an impressive list of accomplishments, including Track Championships at Atco Raceway in 2023 and Cecil County Dragway in 2024, along with a 2023 NHRA Division 1 Championship in the 6–9 age group. He has also earned multiple runner-up finishes at Bristol and finished 2nd in points at Maple Grove Raceway in 2024.

In 2025, Christian stepped up to the 8.90 class and gained valuable experience before an engine failure ended his season early. Now fully repaired, he’s focused on coming back stronger for the 2026 season.

Christian loves racing for the friendships and the opportunity to learn from other racers, all while working to make his family proud. Outside of racing, he enjoys playing video games, riding his Burromax, and anything related to machines.

age 11 | Puerto Rico

CHLOE ESTRADA

Chloe Estrada grew up around drag racing and discovered her passion for the sport at just 5 years old after being inspired by the movie Right on Track. She officially began her junior dragster career at 8 and quickly made an impact. In her first competitive season, Chloe traveled to Orlando, Florida and won the 2024 World Sport Compact Challenge, a moment that boosted her confidence and set the tone for her racing career.

Since then, Chloe has earned multiple podium finishes and strong results while competing across Puerto Rico and the mainland United States. She proudly represents Puerto Rico on the track and was part of the first official group of Puerto Rican racers to compete at the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals. With racecars based in both Puerto Rico and the mainland United States, she continues to compete at a high level and plans to attend major events including the 2026 Eastern Conference Finals.

Outside of racing, Chloe is an accomplished chess player and the reigning Under-12 Champion in Puerto Rico. She has represented her country internationally at events such as the World Youth Olympiads and Central American and Caribbean competitions, earning bronze medals in her category.

Chloe is proud to represent the next generation of racers and is passionate about sharing her journey while representing both her island and the sport she loves.

age 13 | Pennsylvania

HUNTER WARD

Hunter Ward has been racing junior dragsters for three years, competing in the points series at Numidia Dragway as well as NHRA Division 1 events and the Eastern Conference Finals in Bristol. He also enjoys racing at events like the Beaver Blast, where he gets the best of both worlds—racing his junior dragster and his dirt bike.

In 2025, Hunter showed consistency on the track with seven quarterfinal finishes, including at the Eastern Conference Finals, along with a semifinal finish and a runner-up. He continues to chase his first win and is determined to make 2026 his breakout season.

Hunter loves the excitement of going fast, but what stands out most is his sportsmanship and positive attitude. He enjoys cheering on his teammates and making new friends at the track.

Outside of racing, Hunter stays active playing football and wrestling for his middle school, along with soccer and basketball. He also plays the baritone in the school band and is an honor roll student.

DANICA DUSTIN

Danica Dustin grew up at the track watching her dad race and always knew she wanted her turn behind the wheel. She got her first junior dragster at just 6 years old and couldn’t wait to get started. Since then, race weekends have become something she always looks forward to, especially getting to work on her car alongside her dad.

For Danica, racing is about more than just going fast—it’s about the time spent with family and continuing to learn and grow in the sport she loves.

Outside of racing, Danica enjoys spending time with her friends and playing basketball. She is proud to be part of the next generation of racers and continues to chase her passion at the track.

JACE SANTIAGO

Jace Santiago has quickly made a name for himself in junior drag racing through determination and growth. After a learning-focused first season, where he earned two third-place finishes, he came back stronger in his second year with an impressive performance—14 final round appearances, 8 wins, and 12 semifinal finishes.

Jace’s passion for racing started at just 3 years old, watching his grandfather race. By the time he was 10, he got his chance behind the wheel and hasn’t looked back since. Racing has become a true family experience, bringing everyone together around the sport he loves.

Outside of racing, Jace enjoys playing basketball with his friends and previously trained in karate and jiu-jitsu before fully committing to racing.

FAITH BENTON

Faith Benton began her journey in drag racing by helping her Poppy with his dragster and working with Classic Graphic Merchandise selling PDRA products. Being around the sport quickly grew into a passion, and she stepped into her own junior dragster for the first time, starting in the 9.50 class.

In her first season, Faith qualified in 5 out of 8 PDRA races—an impressive accomplishment in such a competitive field—and finished 17th out of 50 racers in her class. Now moving into the 7.90 class with a new car, she’s excited to continue competing against some of the sport’s most talented drivers and build on her success.

For Faith, It’s the camaraderie, support, and friendships that make the experience special, along with the lessons she’s learning that will help prepare her for the next level in the sport.

Outside of racing, Faith is dedicated to her academics and was recently inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. She has played volleyball for five years and plans to continue in high school. She also enjoys planting flowers, swimming, and exploring photography through her school’s sports programs.

MASON BLUMENAUER

Mason Blumenauer is coming off a strong 2025 season, finishing 2nd in points, capturing a Race of Champions win, and earning a runner-up finish in the SBRA Bracket Finals main event. Over the past three years, he has focused on improving his reaction times and consistency, continuing to sharpen his skills at every race.

For Mason, racing is about more than competition—it’s about the friendships and community that feel like a second family. He values the connections he’s made just as much as the success he’s found on the track.

Outside of racing, Mason enjoys riding his SxS, listening to music, and gaming with friends. He is passionate about representing the next generation of junior drag racers and hopes to inspire younger drivers to stay focused, work hard, and find their place within the racing community.

SHANE DAILEY

Shane Dailey is a dedicated junior drag racer who has been competing since the age of 6. Now 14, he brings focus, discipline, and a strong competitive drive to every race weekend, continuing to grow both on and off the track.

Racing is a true family effort for Shane. With his parents serving as his crew, mentors, and biggest supporters, the team is built on passion, hard work, and shared goals. Together, they focus on safety, sportsmanship, and constant improvement, both in racing and in life.

Shane competes throughout the majority of the year at sanctioned tracks, gaining experience and building his skills with every pass. In the off-season, he stays involved in racing through slot car competition, always finding ways to stay connected to the sport he loves.

He continues to develop as a driver while representing the next generation of racers with dedication, passion, and a strong commitment to the future of the sport.

age 16 | ONTARIO, CA

NEVAEH GOMES

Nevaeh Gomes has been racing junior dragsters since 2020 and has consistently been a strong competitor at her home track. She has finished in the top five in points every year since 2021, including top three finishes in both 2024 and 2025. Her accomplishments include multiple race wins, four big checks, Rookie of the Year in 2021, and Sportsman of the Year in 2023.

Coming from a racing family, Nevaeh’s passion for the sport runs deep. With her grandfather, great uncle, and dad all involved in racing, she has grown up surrounded by it. Her dad is her biggest inspiration, and she proudly designed and painted her junior dragster to match his green 1970 Super Bee.

Outside of racing, Nevaeh enjoys scrapbooking, planning and organizing, spending time with friends, and listening to music. She is proud to represent the next generation of racers and continues to chase her goals on and off the track.
